Adult ADHD is often diagnosed using the ASRS-v1.1 symptom checklist. It  evaluates if the reported symptoms match the most prevalent ADHD symptoms at a scale and frequency which indicates a higher likelihood of ADHD. A result indicating a higher likelihood of ADHD is best discussed with a counsellor, therapist, or other appropriate healthcare professional.
