Mindful Washing of Hands

We wash our hands many times a day, often rushing through the task on the way to more important things and in our head the whole time.

Instead I invite you to practice washing your hands mindfully, staying present with the experience. Read the instruction sheet for more.

About this resource:
This is an Eckhart Tolle exercise, and one of my favorite simple introductions to being present and noticing our physical body.

Reflection:
Do you find it hard to remember to do this exercise? Could you do something - such as wearing a different ring or having a band around your wrist - to help prompt you to remember? Would you say you can be present more easily during other times, now that you are practicing while you wash your hands?
